Dexter and Jones

Dexter and Jones is a craft beer, artisan gin and fine wine shop/bar in Knutsford. Throughout the second lockdown we remain open as a bottle shop every day, as well as offering our established online shop and a local delivery service, which we as owners are operating throughout the outbreak.

On the beer front, we specialise in craft beers, many of which are rare and we pride ourselves on being one of the few bottle shops in the country to stock. Our stock includes local brewers like Mobberley Brewhouse and Cloudwater, national favourites such as Deya and international showstoppers like Omnipollo. From IPAs to sours and stouts that’ll blow your mind!

Most of our gins are from small batch distillers who strive for uniqueness in the market, such as Three Wrens with their delicious apple crumble gin and Big Hill Distillery with their Mobberley made Spirit of George.

We've even just launched our own range of gins, all made from natural ingredients and packed with flavour. Each one is dedicated to one of our dogs:

Rufus: London Dry with extracts of lemon, fig and mulberry

Tallulah: Strawberry Cheesecake

Daphne: Blackcurrant Tart.

We also stock the firm favourites such as Brockmans, Malfy and Salcombe.

We stock more than 40 lines of wine, which are selected lovingly from small vineyards and come to us from across the globe. We even have a rum or two to throw into the mix.

As for how you order: if you visit our website www.dexterandjones.co.uk we offer an express delivery service nationwide which will get to you within 48 hours max. For locals, we have set up a same day home drop off service which anyone within 8 miles of the shop can access simply by calling 01565 650055 between 12pm and 4pm. Orders will get to you that very day! We just pop it on the doorstep and call you to check you can grab it. It’s a service we are thoroughly enjoying running and the smiles and window waves are becoming the highlight of our job.

We also remain open as a bottle shop daily with extensive social distancing measures and stringent cleaning measures, making it safe and easy to pop in without joining a big queue elsewhere.

Our bar at Dexter and Jones has become renowned for bringing people from all walks of life together.  Whilst we can’t do that at the moment, what we can still do is continue to bring smiles to the faces of our community and the nation, provide a safe place to buy and also offer you the prospect of a very big party when all this is over!
