Clarity Contemporary Jewellery

Clarity Contemporary Jewellery has been in Knutsford over 12 years and Tara Kirkpatrick, the owner, makes jewellery in the on-site workshop. The jewellery on display at Clarity is predominantly silver, around 30% has been made by Tara, this sits alongside collections from other designer makers. Tara also carries out bespoke commissions working in silver, gold, platinum and precious gemstones.

During and post lock-down, Tara has been working hard on creating her sparkling gems to delight and has made a couple of new collections. One of which she has launched on this Knutsford High Street website - beautiful silver and gold bead necklaces, bracelets and earrings, with a touch of hammering to create a texture that lets the light bounce all around. Tara has sourced some lab-created opals that she is also incorporating with the beads, she says, "I love a natural opal, the depth of fire in a good quality opal is mesmerising, but I also love lab-created opals where there has been no need to dig rocks to create these opals that have a consistent depth of fire and colour". She is using a lovely aqua blue opal, help remind us of the shimmering colours from the seas and oceans of our holidays past and one day holidays future. Also a subtle white opal with flecks of colour that can be worn with any outfit.
